How is Sprouting Seeds Language Arts Different?

Sprouting Seeds Language Arts offers:

  • 2 weekly, hour-long, live, virtual classes in a small group setting of 2-4 students

  • Group readings and discussions of classic literature. Students will read complete works of literature during each unit.

  • Comprehensive daily, open-ended homework assignments that include:

    • Art integrated lessons

    • Thorough grammar instruction

    • Sentence diagramming

    • Vocabulary practice

    • Poetry appreciation, memorization and recitation

    • Persuasive, informative and narrative essay writing

  • Detailed student performance reviews at the end of every unit. These reviews can be used for quarterly reports to be sent to the school district.

Students build paragraphs into essays while learning how to write persuasive, informative and narrative essays.

Students read and memorize poems by Christina Rossetti, Alfred Lord Tennyson, Thomas Hardy, Henry Wadsworth Longfellow and more.
