Classic Literature Book Club

Did you know that reading classic literature can increase attention span, better one’s understanding of history and culture, improve vocabulary and advance one’s writing skills? In short, reading classic literature is beneficial for every reader!

However, reading classic literature can feel intimidating. Therefore, let's do it together!  As we read together, we will unravel the richness of the text together. And the students will also gain tools they can use while reading on their own.

We will meet every Tuesday for one hour at 6pm EST/3pmPST.

This current session will begin on Tuesday, July 2nd.

Classes cost $7 per week, and they can be paid weekly or monthly.

Our first book together will be Treasure Island written by Robert Louis Stevenson.

Robert Louis Stevenson said of his own novel:

“Will you be surprised to learn it is about Buccaneers…a map and a treasure and a mutiny and a derelict ship…and a doctor, and a Sea-Cook with one leg, and a sea-song with the chorus, “Yo-ho-ho and a bottle of rum?”

Join us for adventures on the high seas as we experience mystery, mutiny, and the adventure of a pirate’s life!
